Tenuta La Badiola is located in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma, 7 km from Castiglione della Pescaia and the Tyrrhenian coast, and is immersed in a natural setting of great charm: soft hills dotted with olive trees and rows of vineyards that alternate to thicken then , further south, in the Mediterranean scrub. Just 20km from Grosseto.

The Andana is made up of “La Villa” and “La Fattoria”, joined together by the suggestive Winter Garden that houses the hotel lobby and reception, an informal space composed of large windows from which to glimpse the enchanting landscape Maremma; and from “La Casa”, which captures the soul of the Maremma landscape and conquers its guests with a sincere and authentic feeling, interwoven with that rare intimacy that has the true flavor of “Home”.

The interior décor, restructured and rationalized in the spaces thanks to the study of the architect Ettore Mocchetti, director of AD Italia, expresses the deep soul of the Tuscan land, made of warm colors, simplicity and uniqueness. The colors chosen for the furnishings and for the rooms and suites respect this desire and adapt perfectly to the Tuscan style of the furniture and the precious silk of the Florentine fabrics used. Inside the hotel you will find a refined environment where nothing is left to chance and which, at the same time, conveys an idea of intimate familiarity, making guests feel the atmosphere of a “home” in the most authentic heart of Tuscany.

Rooms

The 33 rooms and suites of La Villa are cared for down to the smallest detail and furnished with taste and refinement, while maintaining an intimate and familiar atmosphere. All the rooms enjoy a suggestive view over the Maremma countryside and the atmosphere of each is made warmer by a pleasant stone fireplace of fine Tuscan manufacture. In the spacious and bright rooms and suites: tones of dust and earth, gray and beige, ocher yellow and purple red, blend thanks to crimson white. LCD televisions, safes, WIFI, newspapers and magazines, CD and DVD players are available in all rooms.

The Superior Room (about 35 m²) is a large and comfortable bedroom furnished with simplicity and elegance. The bedroom leads to a bathroom equipped with every comfort, enriched by details in wood and marble in delicate pastel tones.

The Deluxe Room (approximately 40 m²) is elegantly decorated with fine fabrics and period furniture. The bedroom leads to a large bathroom and both of these spaces enjoy an enchanting view of the surrounding countryside. The perfect expression of the Art of Living in Tuscany.

The Deluxe Mezzanine Room (approximately 45 m²) is decorated with fine fabrics and period furniture. The bedroom leads to a large bathroom and both of these spaces enjoy enchanting views of the surrounding countryside. The mezzanine of the room is perfect to accommodate a small living room with a study, or to transform into a bedroom dedicated to children.

The Junior Suite (approximately 50-60 m²) has a welcoming entrance, a large living room and a romantic stone fireplace. From this suite you can enjoy an enchanting view of the Tuscan hills. From a comfortable dressing room you get to the airy bathroom.

The Superior Suite (about 65-70 m²) has a spacious living area characterized by a stone fireplace and a pleasant relaxation area. The bedroom, decorated with elegant Italian furniture, leads to a large dressing area through which you enter a bathroom with decapé wooden floors.

The Prestige Suite (approximately 80 m²) features a guest bathroom at the side of the entrance and a large living area decorated with fine fabrics and a romantic stone fireplace. The bedroom, elegant and spacious, enjoys a unique panorama of the Tuscan Maremma: the small church, the green of the Mediterranean scrub, the regular profile of vineyards and olive groves, and finally the bright blue of the Tyrrhenian Sea.

The house has 14 rooms and suites, each with a view of the green and the nearby hills, dotted with neat olive trees, holm oaks, strawberry trees and mastic trees from which the unmistakable balsamic aroma of the Mediterranean scrub is released. The rooms are equipped with a small kitchen, each has a pleasant outdoor area: some of them enjoy the intimacy of a fragrant garden, others the pleasure of a delightful private terrace.

All the rooms and suites of La Casa are furnished with attention to the smallest detail and revive, in the materials used and in the colors that dress them, the essence of the Grosseto Maremma. Wood, leather, pony, marble. Orange, red, light gray, but also brick and dark brown.

The Terrace Deluxe, with a floor area of approximately 35m², is located on the first floor of La Casa, and is equipped with an entrance with a wardrobe and a comfortable kitchenette. The entrance leads to the spacious bedroom, enriched by a romantic fireplace and flooded with natural light that filters through the windows and the large terrace overlooking the green and the evocative colors of the Maremma countryside. Family Mezzanine has a floor area of about 50 m², on the ground floor and with a lovely private garden, equipped with comfortable sun loungers and a table with chairs, all in wrought iron, perfect for an en plein air breakfast or for an aperitif at sunset. Each Family Mezzanine has a welcoming entrance with kitchenette and separate walk-in closet. The large bedroom has a romantic fireplace, a small study corner with a desk and an LCD TV. All Family Mezzanines boast a spacious mezzanine, perfect as a living room or to be transformed into a bedroom dedicated to the little ones. The bathroom, in delicate pastel tones, has a bathtub and a very spacious shower. The Family Mezzanine room can be communicating with another room of the same type.

The Family Suite (about 80m²) is characterized by a refined living area with table, sofa and LCD TV, and is enriched by a small kitchen housed in an independent and dedicated space. The bedroom, decorated with elegant furnishings with warm nuances, is equipped with a fireplace, LCD TV and a study corner; it overlooks a very large terrace, from which you can enjoy a unique view of the green and the surrounding hills, dotted with orderly rows of olive trees. The bedroom opens onto a large area, dedicated to the walk-in closet, through which you enter a refined bathroom equipped with a hydromassage bath and shower. From the living area, a wooden staircase leads to a spacious loft area, lit by two large skylights, and here there is a second bedroom, with white exposed beams, equipped with LCD TV, and a lovely attic bathroom.

The SPA ESPA de L’Andana is spread over 600 m2 divided into four rooms, two of which are thermal, with slate floors. A refined environment, with suggestive vaulted ceilings, natural materials, warm colors and romantic scented candles. There are 4 treatment rooms available, one of which is dedicated to treatments for two, a state-of-the-art fitness room, a Turkish bath and a vitality pool. The Andana houses the La Villa restaurant.
